Nationality: USA
Residence: Austin, Texas
Birth year: 2010
I love bikes. I love riding and racing, but the best part of cycling is the community. I really enjoy being a rider and racer and I value all the friends I've made in the sport.
The expectation I hold for myself is to always be nice and to finish every race. My current goals are to win the XCC and XCO at Nationals 2025, to try my hand in as many different cycling disciplines as I can to try to become the most well-rounded athlete I can be. Some of my stretch goals are to win a UCI cross-country race before I'm 23, to be a Team USA hopeful by the time I'm 18, and to be on Team USA for the 2032 and 2036 Olympics. Fun stretch goal - I want to jump the leading group of the Tour de France on my mountain bike and then participate in the Tour de Femmes that same year.
Follow my Instagram account, my dad also posts a lot of race pics on his account as well

2025
2025 started out great. Playing freshman Volleyball at Austin High and still riding 6 days a week was awesome. I felt great.
The first race of the year for NICA went down to a sprint finish, lots of fun and I felt incredibly strong.
Then, my knee started to twinge. I'm growing, nearly 6' tall, and the doctors said it was growing pains. We had it looked at, x-ray and MRI, nothing is wrong, so I started 8 weeks of PT in the middle of the race season. Stretching and strength. I was still going to the races with my dad (head coach) and my little sister. I was so hard seeing everyone else racing and I couldn't stand it anymore, so I raced the US Pro Cup in Fayetteville. It went as you'd expect, sadness and pain.
So I doubled down on PT (literally 2x a day) and was able to get back to racing by May. It's been a fast ramp back up, my first race back was the NICA State Championship and I finished my second Varsity year with a sprint finish. Then I raced TMBRA state finale, getting edged out by the local pro (who's beat me in the past regularly by >5 minutes) by 1/100th of a second. I also got 2nd in the Texas criterium state championships in my first crit race this year.
Eyes on Nationals in Roanoke, very excited to see how I can fine-tune my training while still keeping doing my PT exercises a few times a week.
2024
In 2024 I joined the Texas Devo Cycling Team and began training with coach Mike Hamsa.
I petitioned to Varsity in NICA. I'm the youngest racer in the category.
The Texas racing organization, TMBRA, changed a rule to prevent anyone under 15 from racing Cat 1 or Open. In the meantime, I've been racing men's 15-18 Cat 2.
In the Summer I traveled to USAC XC National Championships. The racing was great, and I had a photo finish for the Short Track National Championship! Very cool.
I made it onto the Austin High Volleyball Team for my freshman year. The late summer and fall have been mostly volleyball thus far - very fun.
2023
2022-2023 is a building year; a year to try new categories, new racing styles, and new techniques without fear of failure. Since my plan has been to jump up categories, winning hasn't been the focus - learning is.
I raced a few of TMBRA's Marathon races in Fall 23/Spring 24 and really enjoyed the additional length and different strategies.
In TMBRA's XC Fall 2023 series, I raced Pro/Open. I ended up 2nd overall in the series.
I did my first drop-bar rides in Summer 2023 at the Driveway Series Criterium races in Austin Texas. I raced the women's open category and since the field was so accomplished, the USAC points rank me at 2nd in the nation for my age. Crazy.
For the NICA XC Spring 2023 race season, I petitioned to race in the JV2 category. After winning JV2 by over 2 minutes, I successfully petitioned again and was granted an upgrade to the JV1 merit-based category. I won the JV1 NICA Texas State Championship and went 2nd in the JV1 Southern Division points series. I was also selected as a GRiT Junior Ambassador to represent NICA.
For the TMBRA XC Spring series, I cat'd up to Cat 1 15-18 after winning the Cat 2 race by 6 minutes. I finished 2nd in the state for the series in Spring 2023.
2022
In the fall of 2021, I joined NICA as a 6th grader. I placed first in every event during the Spring XC 2022 season. We asked to cat up, but NICA had a rule (changed now) preventing 6th graders from petitioning out.
I collaborated with Betty Designs in 2021 to create custom gear for young female racers - NextGen Betty - and was able to give out jerseys to girl riders ranging from ages 7-14.
In 2021 at the Specialized Status Jam at Spider Mountain Downhill Park I was selected by Specialized's Status Pro riders to receive a brand-new Status Enduro bike. I'm featured at the end of the first video on Status' Youtube channel.
Fun facts:
- I had a legitimate photo-finish at the USAC Nationals XCC race in 2024 with Leah Morozowich
- I was the Valedictorian of my middle school (Clint Small Middle school, ~1,400 students)
- NICA Spring 2024 I won the first Varsity race as an 8th grader. Exciting.
- In TMBRA Fall 2023, I was the youngest person racing in any adult category.
- In Spring 2023 I was the only 7th grader racing in Texas NICA high school categories.
- In 2021 I was the youngest person to ever complete a lap of the Dragonslayer, a race that takes place on the IMBA Goodwater Epic trail.
- In 2021 I was the youngest person to ever attempt or complete the Barton Creek Death March.
